Finishing Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Finishing Carpenter to join our team and work on various carpentry and millwork projects.

Duties:

• Assemble and install structures such as cabinets, counters, benches, etc.
• Utilize power tools to cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment
• Execute tasks involving sanding, staining, and finishing.
• Build items from scratch based on blueprints or verbal instruction.
• Assist climbing wall fabrication team when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a finishing carpenter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and follow technical instructions accurately.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.
• Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
• Must have own vehicle, as some driving to site is required.

Compensation: $20-$25/hour (depending on experience).

Position can be full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days a week). The work is in person at Magic Lab Climbing.
